Lifts from Others
In this field you need to enter fuel which you lift from other companies. The other companies own the fuel when it becomes liable for duty and are, therefore, liable for the duty but you pay it under a deferment arrangement.
To select your supplier, click the Choose Supplier button. You can enter all or part of the company code or name to search for the supplier. You can use the % symbol to produce a list of all account-holders. Enter the appopriate volumes against each company.
Own Fuel Lifted
In this field, you need to report volumes of fuel that you have supplied for road transport use and which you own when it crosses the duty point so you are liable for the duty whether you pay it or not.
HMRC Forms
You need to enter the amount of fuel in standard litres supplied for road transport use which were reported on your H010, HO930 or any other HMRC form shown in the appropriate field. This will be the total of the volumes you have entered in the Lifts from Others and Own Fuel Lifted fields. A negative number may be entered.
If you have paid duty on UK road transport fuel using a form not listed here, please enter the amount in “OTHER” and e-mail the RFA as soon as possible with an explanation.
Lifts by Others
For the fuel type selected, you need to report volumes of fuel supplied for road transport use that you own when it crosses the duty point and on which you are, therefore, liable for the duty, but another company has paid the duty under a deferment arrangement. This information helps us to validate information reported by you and other companies, to ensure that all companies meet their obligation and that duty has been paid on all fuel reported.
To select your supplier, click the Choose Supplier button. You can enter all or part of the company code or name to search for the supplier. You can use the % symbol to produce a list of all account-holders. Enter the appopriate volumes against each company.
The system will check that total Lifts from Others + Own Fuel Lifted = Dutiable Total (i.e. the total of the HMRC Forms).
