A trio of new fuel chains added for Year 3

The carbon intensity and greenhouse gas savings of ethanol using either triticale, cassava or sweet sorghum has been assessed for use in Year 3 of the RTFO.

The addition of these three new fuel chains brings the total number of calculable feedstocks up to 43.
