RFA trials changes to monthly reports
The RFA is rethinking the way it reports data on volumes of biofuels, carbon savings, feedstocks and performance against sustainability targets.
The Agency is currently reviewing the format and content of its monthly reports in response to stakeholder feedback and demand.
For a trial period of three months the monthly reports will be published in a new format – the data tables will still be included, but the graphs will no longer be part of the monthly report.
There will not be any changes to the quality and breadth of data – it will all still be openly reported and available.
So that none is lost, some of the data that was previously only presented graphically will now be included statistically in the tables instead.
This includes information on data capture, trend data against RTFO targets, and proportions at each Accuracy Level.
The format of our quarterly reports will remain unchanged. They will continue to provide data and graphs on company and overall RTFO performance against the Government targets.
We welcome your feedback both on the changes and how you use the data – please send to c-and-s@rfa.gsi.gov.uk
We will review and incorporate any further changes based on your comments after the three month trial period. At this time we also hope to have more clarity on reporting under the RED.
The RFA remains committed to exemplary transparency of data and we will continue to provide the high quality, detailed factual information expected by our stakeholders.
